OUR STORY

1962

Mr. Aldo Finzi start his business importing the grain oriented electrical steel from ARMCO (present AK Steel). He was the first importer of GOES in Italy. He sold the Electrical Steels to the Transformer Producers that produced the Transformer Cores inside their plants.

1971

Mr. Giorgio Finzi founded Lagor Srl the first Italian Electrical Steel cutting service. In few years he gains the leadership in the market of the Transformer Cores for distribution transformers. The passion combined to the continuous studies bring Mr. Finzi to become one of the most important Electrical Steel’s knower.

2015

After 20 years of work in the field, Mrs Beatrice Finzi became General Manager of Lagor. Mrs Beatrice with her sister Giulia, is using the strong knowledge of the electrical steel and the experience gained in Power Transformer Cores and in Cast Resin Cores to face the challenges of the transformer cores market bringing Lagor in a new era.
